Summer is over??
Hi Everyone!! Wow, sorry it's been a while since we have last posted. Things have been quite busy in the Kirsch household. We ended the summer with Sara and her mom visiting us. We had a great time. They saw a ton of awesome things, and Logan and I tagged along when we could. Sean has been really busy with work like usual. The rest of his team that was deployed came home last night. Everyone made it home safe and sound, so that is a very good thing. I am not taking any classes this semester because I have some work to finish up, need to study for a language test, and prepare a thesis proposal. I am planning on starting my thesis in the Spring.
Logan is as busy as ever. He is crawling so fast! He pulls himself up to stand on anything and everything. He even lets go and stands by himself for a few seconds. He is still pretty unsure of standing alone though, so doesn't do it too much. He says "momma" and "dada" and he knows who Toulie is and when he hears an airplane he looks up to the sky. It's really cute. He is ten months old now. He has four teeth, his top front and bottom. He is even doing a lot better sleeping, some nights we get really lucky and he sleeps the whole night, otherwise he will wake up one time.
Over Labor Day weekend we took our trailer out to the Santa Cruz Mountains. It was a lot of fun. The weather was beautiful and we were lucky and got a really big corner spot for the trailer. We had bonfires every night and even had visits from the Foss family and the Grells. One day we went to the ocean and Toulie ran around and Logan dug his toes in the sand and got splashed by waves.
Then last week our good friends Tamara and Eddie and their 8 month old baby Tyler came to visit us. It was so nice to see them as they live in Georgia now, and the babies had a great time meeting and playing together.
Next month, over my birthday, we will be heading out to Hawaii. I am soooo excited as I have never been there. Sean has been there before, but hasn't done any touristy stuff because he was always there for work. Not too excited for the plane ride with a wiggly 11 month old, but it will be worth it, I'm sure!! That is about it for now. Enjoy some pics of our sweet boy. He loves camping!!! We will try to post more often, hope this reaches everyone happy and healthy!
