Out of this world technology!!!

Aah, here we are back again after another fun filled weekend. Peanut finally got to meet and hang out with Auntie Heidi and kiddos and my friend Craig is in town after a fun filled epic week of climbing in the Valley.
Today we hit up the climbing gym for the morning for some fun weekend activities before heading back to work early tomorrow. Kt is finally done with school, at least for the most part. She has one more paper to write over the summer, but at least she has some breathing room... finally. She finally put on another pound after two days of In-N-Out. Despite our best efforts for a third day she resorted to some taco salad. She is doing really well though and continues to remain as active as possible.

In other news we bought our first baby items this weekend at a moving sale. How I ever made it growing up is way beyond me, because they have the raddest kiddaroo stuff these days. This one item, a "traveling crib" that must've been designed by some nuclear scientist from MIT. It comes with all the gadgets and folds up to the size of a tent bag. The other space-age is too unbelievable for it to be for an infant. There is no way it can be "just a stroller". The only thing this item doesn't have is a Rolls Royce emblem on the front of it. Its got bumpers, mug holders, storage compartments and high speed wheels. Oh, did I mention its a convertible? Yeah, its got a handy sliding top and it converts to a car seat. I haven't ever even owned a convertible and I don't think my first ride even had 4 cup holders total. Pics to come....

Straight off the press from the journal is word that Peanuts heart beat pumps about 25 quarts of blood p/day and will increase to 300 quarts by the time he/she is born.
We have yet to find any names for peanut yet too but we have found some good sources to choose from. Any ideas anyone?

So that is all for today. I will post some pics soon of Peanuts new ride.

KT, Sean, Peanut and Toulie out!!!

Ok, here are the pics...

Mighty Mini-nut

Check out how strong Peanut and KT are. Taken from a recent trip with Grandma Lynda and Grandpa Bob to Sequoia National Park, CA

Here is another of Grandma Lynda and KT on our way to the top of Moro Rock. It was a total of 400 stairs at almost 7000ft.

Peanuts' first visit with Grandma Lynda and Grandpa Bob!!!

hello all,

So here we are after a long weekend of fun, back on the computer. Peanut is now 13 weeks and 2 days old. YAY we made it through the first trimester. Peanut now has 20 teeth, a functional liver, and rooting reflexes. For all, including Toulie and I, rooting reflexes are when peanuts face is touched his/her mouth will open. Don's ask me how were gonna experiment with that till peanut is born though. We might just have to wait with that one....
Kt is still going strong. She's had mild back pain, which is normal, and still covets sleep like it's going-outta-style. Monday we go back to the Dr for another checkup. One of these days I am going to bust out the ped cardiac stethescope and see if I can hear Peanuts heartbeat too. Wont that be fun.
Life other than that is going well, too. Kt is on her last paper for the semester. It's a doozy though, so she seems to always be busy either writing or reading for it. Hmmm, what will she do with all her free time over the summer? I think we're just going to have to celebrate when she finishes... non-alcoholic drinks and all.....

signing off for now, KT, Peanut, Sean and Toulie.

Hello everyone! Here is a pic of Sean and I at the Jelly Belly factory, just thought I'd share a fun picture.
So I am posting because I wanted to tell you all something cool! So at Sean's work they have a portable ultrasound machine (of course)! He brought it home the other day and we tried it out tonight to see if it worked. It was so awesome! We got to see the baby chillin in my belly. Actually, it wasn't really chillin', it was moving around like crazy again! We could definitely see the arms and legs moving and even a side profile with the little nose! It was sooooo awesome. I wish we could look everyday! Unfortunately the machine is worth like 100 grand so we can't keep it. We will definitely grab it again though for when Lynda and Bob come out to visit in two weeks, and they will get to see their little grandson/daughter for the first time!! How exciting! So, that's about all for this post. I go to see the doctor again on May 25th, so no doctor news yet or anything, but peanut is definitely hanging out in belly! Have a good night everyone!
Love,
KT and Sean

Peanut is 76 days old...

Schnikees, Peanut may no longer be a peanut as big as he/she is. Measuring over 5 cm now (2inches) peanut may be upgrading to a walnut.... Or maybe a more appropriate term is "wall nut" since KT and I spend so much time rock climbing on the "walls." haha. No worries folks, we continue to be careful with no lead climbing involved.
Peanut was kicking away on the ultrasound last week. Those two lil legs were moving like Lance Armstrong in the Tour De France... except of the last race that is. It was really awesome to watch though. Lets just hope that Peanut's gracefulness comes from KT and not the clumsiness in me.
In other medical news straight from the journal, Peanuts legs are completely vascularized now and she/he has fingernails and toenails for KT to paint someday. Kt's uterus is now the size of a grapefruit... a small one albeit. And over the next couple day Peanut's irises will develop color. hmmm, since KT has hazel and I have brown, I wonder what color Peanut will have? Lastly Peanut is growing an avg. of 1.5 mm everyday....
In other news, Kt continues to work on her school work obsessively. She will prolly have read more books this semester than I have in my whole life... ok, so I am not a bigger reader.
Work, for me, is starting to pick back up now that the rest of the boys are back home from the deployment. Our next overseas trip is sometime next summer, but for now we're looking forward to a summer of fun and hopefully making the voyage, with Toulie, back to MN for some R&R in July. Maybe Peanut will get his/her first jump off the dock up at the cabin then too....

KT and I...
